They do not have a rotating shaft, and the reciprocating motion of the piston is provided by electromagnetic forces. They are also installed on refrigerators having a large volume, since these are very economical devices. Even less common is a rotary compressor from the refrigerator. Here, the difference in pressure is created by changing the pressure in the suction chambers and by pumping the rotor. It has small dimensions. But in Russia and in neighboring countries they are not produced. The screw compressor from the refrigerator is similar in its characteristics to the piston ones. However, the first is characterized by less weight, reliability in operation, it does not have friction in the compression plane, in addition, it can be used at low temperatures.
