Opera and Ballet theatre
Bashkir State Theater of Opera and Ballet(Ufa) was opened in 1938. Its founders are F. Gaskarov and G. Almukhametov. They created a troupe of students who were sent to study at the Moscow Conservatory and the Leningrad Choreography School. In 1955, the artists clearly showed themselves as a master of their craft. For this, about 70 of them were awarded ranks and awards. Here the legendary dancer Rudolf Nuriev began his creative career. The Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theater holds festivals. Museums
Bashkir State Theater of Opera and Balletoffers its viewers to visit two of their museums. One is dedicated to the life and work of the dancer Rudolf Nuriev. It is located on the 2 nd floor of the theater. The museum was opened in 2008 in honor of the anniversary of the famous Ufa. There are 156 exhibits presented to the theater by the Nuriyev Foundation.
The second museum is dedicated to the history of the theater.It was created in 1993. It was located on the 1 st floor of the theater. Here, among the exhibits are sketches and models of scenery, costumes from various productions, props, awards, photographs and posters, as well as personal belongings of famous actors. There is also a stand that is dedicated to the work of Fyodor Chaliapin. It was at the Ufa Theater that he made his debut.
