AS Pushkin, "On the Hills of Georgia": an analysis of the poem

A.S.Pushkin wrote "In the hills of Georgia" in the summer of 1829. This is one of the poems dedicated to his wife Natalia Goncharova. The work is filled with sadness and hope for a bright future at the same time, because it was written after the unsuccessful matchmaking of the poet. His future wife Alexander Sergeyevich met on one of the balls, and she won him with one glance only. Pushkin understood that he could be refused, so the marriage proposal was sent to the parents of the bride together with his friend Fyodor Tolstoy-the American. In response, he received a refusal, reasoned by the girl's youth.
