It's no secret that with the onset of summer residentscities on weekends more and more want to leave the hot, stuffy streets and go to nature, where you can swim, ride a catamaran or a boat, fry a shish kebab or just relax and rest, basking in the warm sunshine. One of the first places in the rating of the most popular beaches of the Moscow region is occupied by the Luberetskie quarry (photo is presented in the article).
По сути, знаменитые Люберецкие карьеры are a complex of sand pits of the Luberetskiy GOK (Mining and Processing Plant) - Small, Big Dzerzhinsky and Lesnoy. When the dredger was removed, the water level in the quarry had risen, as a result, part of the coastline was flooded.
Today, the middle part of the peninsula is occupied by a largea stone plateau, folded sandstone beds, which did not have time to destroy during the development. The second part is a fine-grained light sand, chaotically littered with scattered blocks and slabs of very strong and dense sandstone. From the ground continue to beat the springs, and the water in the quarry becomes more and more. The length of the Dzerzhinsk ponds is up to 1 km. There is enough place to not only swim and sunbathe, but also to ride a hydrocycle.
The authors of the reviews share that the water in the Luberetskiyponds are always colder than in other near Moscow water bodies. The reason for this is their great depth and beating springs, because of which the water warms up slowly. But this does not stop the holidaymakers: the swimming season is very crowded.

Motorists should know that to go here to rest by car is not the most successful idea: it is very difficult to park near the quarry, but it is not allowed to enter inside.
