The stationary concrete covering of the central arena of the stadium has the possibility of transformation under the ice.
The total area of the complex is 54 887 m².The interior space can be divided into two halves by a sliding partition absorbing sounds, about 25 meters high. The partition consisting of more than 25 sliding panels is assembled in a short time and dividing the arena into two parts, which allows two different events to be carried out simultaneously.
The capacity of the sports complex "Olympic" in Moscow can reach the maximum of 36 thousand spectators. Its dimensions correspond to the size of a standard football field.
