Although mobile phones have long been quiteordinary communication devices, many people occasionally encounter different problems in the operation of mobile phones. One of them is that the computer system does not see the phone via USB.
Many people are used to the fact that all the key functionsany device must work out of the box, that is, do not require any special settings. In other words, from the phone it is expected that when you connect it to the computer, a dialog will automatically be displayed, offering you to choose the operating mode (charging, modem, drive, etc.) on the touch screen. However, in some models this does not happen, and the owner concludes that the computer does not see the phone via USB. In particular, users of some smartphones from Samsung encountered this.
The next problem, because of which the computer does notsees the phone through USB, is to use the owner of a poor-quality cord to connect devices. Suspiciously cheap cords have long been known for the fact that the conductors of wires inside do not meet the requirements for resistance (cross-section, material), so sometimes when you connect, the computer does not see the phone via USB. In addition, the soldering in the connectors and the material of the low-quality sliding contacts further reduce reliability. Therefore, it is recommended to use the wire that comes with the device, or purchase a quality one. In this case, trying to save on "trivia" leads to subsequent problems when using the phone.
Despite the abundance of USB connectors on the systemboards and laptops, they are all connected to only a few controllers. These chips (or blocks), in particular, control the power of the ports. So, for the standard 2.0, the maximum port current is 500 mA. However, due to the fact that gradually the parameters of the electronic components begin to "float" (capacitors lose capacitance, there are stitch closures in the coils, etc.), problems may arise when connecting demanding devices to power. That is, if a modem (500 mA current) is connected to one USB connector, and the phone is switched on nearby, the controller can not cope with the load. The solution is simple: for problems with finding a connected mobile phone, switch it to another free port.
Sometimes the connection blocks the antivirus, installed on the computer. It must be temporarily disabled. And, finally, many users say that they were helped by a simple reboot of the phone and the computer - after that the drive was defined in the system.
