A tachometer is an integral part of everycar. This device is used to determine the number of engine revolutions, the value of which is then displayed on a special scale. The main task of this device is to facilitatethe choice of the necessary (more accurately correct) transmission on the switching box, which significantly increases the dynamics of the vehicle and not so "suffers" motor. Thus, the tachometer is a kind of "adviser" that shows the driver current engine speed and thus indicates the possible need to switch to an increased or lowered speed (respectively, if the needle has fallen or has gone beyond the green scale).
The main essence of such a device, as a tachometer, isthis is the registration and monitoring of the number of pulses coming from the crankshaft sensor. The first variety is the most ancient and at the same time reliable. Despite the fact that the electronic digital tachometer is a much more accurate and functional device, many drivers prefer to use the arrow mechanisms. The fact is that the readings from such a scale are very easily read, while for electronic ones one needs to get used to very long.
