When the YUMZ tractor was put into production, a "tractor" classification of the plant's production began. The reasons for this were the following:
rocket and space production began to cover up;
related and auxiliary production began to be loaded;
the burden on the expenditure part of the budget was reduced;
increased supply to the domestic market of wheeled tractors.
Dnepropetrovsk plant independently producedthe first tractor of YUMZ-6 in 1971. At this time at the plant, this production covered the work for the rocket and space complex and the export of tractors took place under the brand name "Belarus". Although there were external differences with the Minsk tractors.
Justice was restored only by the end of the 1970s. Then they started to be called the YUMZ tractor, but several models continued to be produced under the brand name Belarus.
In 1990 there was a complete modernization - andlight appeared the sixth series, the main feature of which is the adaptation to construction. A rear-wheel drive chassis for this tractor, the SESH-6002 brand, was produced. Also, a tractor came to the series 10244 YuMZ. It was upgraded to work in the municipal economy and is equipped with transport and handling equipment.
The currently produced models are only two - the YUMZ-6AKL tractor and the 6AKI model. Their difference is only in starting the engine - and a compressor is also provided for the transport model.
In the mid-90's, the front suspension of this car was reinforced. As a result, he received a tractor chassis SESH-6002.
This model has a high durability andreliability in operation. Installed diesel engine with a capacity of 60 horsepower. This mini-tractor is widely used in agriculture. It is cheap enough to maintain and does not have a high purchase price. In the Russian market there is a large number of spare parts for the car - and this is a big plus for foreign counterparts.
