The picture shows a monkey with a banana. The application "Monkey" will be made of fabric and will be very realistic in appearance and touch.
Materials for application
In order to do this craft, you will need:
- Thick cardboard is red or orange.
- Colored paper brown, green, white and black.
- Brown velor, or other fabric with pile. The shades of the fabric should be two. One is brown, the other is light brown. Also suitable is a color such as coffee with milk.
- Lwill dye yellow smooth fabric.
- A simple pencil.
- Scissors with rounded ends for paper.
- Scissors for fabric.
- PVA glue.
- Clear glue "Moment".
- Felt-tip pens.
- Special chalk for fabric.
- Wadding or foam rubber.
Beginning of work
- First, you need to prepare several templates:a small triangle for the trunk of the palm, a small triangle for the leaves, a circle a little more for the whites of the eyes and a smaller circle for the pupils, an average oval for the nose.
- Then you need to cut out the details from the fabric.For this purpose, a small chalk on a brown fabric is drawn on the body of a monkey, a head, a pair of ears, a foot with a finger brush, which will hold a banana. On a light fabric, you need to draw the inside of the ears and the muzzle of the monkey, on this piece should be the nose, cheeks and mouth.
- On a yellow fabric, draw a banana. From these details, the "Monkey" applique will be performed.
- Then these details are cut with scissors for the fabric. This is best done by an adult. Because the fabric stretches, and the special scissors are large enough. And in general, work with tissues is difficult for children.
Assembling the applique
- Application "Monkey" from the fabric is collected from palms. For this, several triangles are cut from brown paper from the pattern. From the green cut triangles for the leaves.
- Then palm trees are glued to the background from both sides. The trunk is assembled from several triangles of brown color, triangular leaves are attached from above.
- In the middle of the cardboard are laid out the details of the fabric.First the body, then the head, on one side the paw and banana, on the other side the tail. The foot should lie on the banana. Then the whole construction is outlined in a simple pencil.
- Now the head of the monkey is covered with a tissue muzzle and inner parts of the ears. Then the nose and the squirrels of the eyes cut out from the template, the pupils are glued to the squirrels. Rotik is drawn with a felt-tip pen.
- Then on a contour on a cardboard a thin layerthe glue "Moment" is smeared. Departing from the contour, inside it you need to glue cotton or foam rubber. Wool or foam rubber need to stick a little, otherwise there is not enough tissue.
- From above, covering cotton wool or foam rubber, glue along the edge of the part from the fabric. The application "Monkey" turned out to be voluminous. Done!
End of work
After the assembly of the application you need to erase the contours,drawn in pencil if you can see them. Ready-made applique "Monkey" is decorated with additional drawings of the sun, grass, clouds and so on. All drawings are done with felt-tip pens.
This application has two more embodiments, but they are both not voluminous. In the first variant, cotton wool and foam rubber are excluded. Fabric details are glued directly to the cardboard.
Application "Monkey" of paper refers to the second option. Here the fabric is completely replaced with paper. Paper parts are glued as usual.
The work uses two types of glue, and it's not just that. On the PVA glue the paper and the parts from it are glued well. "Moment" is preferred for other materials.
This work should be done by the kid under the supervision of adults.
