Pay attention to this model in the "grandmother's" style: it is very easy to make, because it is based on a square motif. A crocheted edging resembles coarse lace, which makes the rug look elegant and makes it very cozy. Such a thing, any craftswoman who has the most basic skills in knitting technique, can perform in just a few evenings, not looking up from watching your favorite TV shows.
How to tie a blanket in the old style?
You need to start by preparing the tools andmaterial. Choose a color scheme for the base of the rug. The threads should not be thin so that it turns out warm and quickly went through a process like crocheting. Square motifs are separate parts of the future blanket. They are performed in the same type, but may differ in color. In our case, we used the remains of multi-colored yarn to design the middle of each square. In total it is necessary to make at least 48 pieces. Although, depending on the thickness of the thread and the density of knitting, the square motif with a crochet can be made smaller or larger in size. Therefore, it will be necessary to adjust the number of parts after tying the test sample. Hook choose at least №3, 5, so that the canvas was not too tight.
How to crochet square motifs? The diagrams are very simple and clearly visible in the photos. We start with the ring to tighten it afterwards.
We tie 12 double crochets.
Then we add 6 double crochets in 4 places - we use primary colors.
Thus, a square motif begins to form.
With a crochet we tie the next layer consisting of alternation of 6 double-crochet columns and 6 single-crochet columns.
The last row is performed similarly.
The first part is finished. In this pattern, knit the remaining elements of the blanket.
After all the component parts are completed, proceed to assembly. Interconnecting each square motif, crochet knit air loops (grab them as shown in the photo).
Details fold face to face.
Connect each pair of squares to another pair, etc. The result will be a whole canvas.
The finished look of the blanket will give a border that is notonly aligns it, but also becomes its ornament. In our case, the lace trim fits in the following way. The first row is single crochets, the second is double crochet through one loop + air. The third row - double crochet columns. The fourth (last) - tying festoons according to the scheme: 5 non-nakida columns + 12 double crochets in the 3rd loop. Kayma can be done to your liking. Brushes from the remnants of colored yarn that you used to knit each square crochet motif look very nice. By applying a little imagination and following this simple technology, you will be able to invent and create original items for your home.
