Pillows - an integral attribute in the decorationa bed or a sofa. They not only help to relax comfortably. It is easy to make a new note in the interior design with the help of such a thing as a sewn cushion cushion with your own hands. Cushion in patchwork style
The patchwork style is ideal for creating cute things for home comfort, such as bedside rug, blanket, blanket and cushion, with your own hands.
Master class for tailoring:
- Take a cloth of different colors. It is desirable that all the shreds fit well with each other.
- Cut nine identical squares and five hearts in size a little less.
- From five squares, cut out the heart in the form of a heart.
- Cut four squares diagonally twice so that each one is divided into four triangles.

- Sew a snake (illustration 8).
- Tear the front and back of the pillow together.
- Fill the pillowcase with sintepon, holofayberom or other filler.
The cushion cushion is ready!
Pillow-flower
Pillows decorative on a sofa can have any form. For example, the shape of a flower.
The instruction how to make such pillow:
- Take ten scraps of cloth - five monochrome and five in a flower.
- Fold together all six pieces and cut out the petals (picture 1).
- Sew the petals in pairs, combining the monophonic flap with the patterned flap. Leave the hole below (picture 2).
- Push each filler into each petal (picture 3).
- Spread the bottom of the petal, step back from the edge by one centimeter and sweep the fabric (pictures 4 and 5).
- Sew together all five petals (picture 6).
- Cut two identical circles, in diameter they should be much more than a cent of the flower.
- In the middle of each place the filler and pull the edges together (picture 7).
- Insert one circle on each side of the flower and gently sew them to the petals (picture 8).
The original cushion is ready!
Let's make a word from pillows
Such sofa attributes have recently becomevery fashionable. This is not surprising. After all, they are not only beautiful and unusual looking, but also comfortable. Moreover, it is very simple to sew a cushion with your own hands.
Master Class:
- Draw the necessary letters on a piece of paper and cut them out (illustration 1).
- Then put the pattern on the fabric and cut out the details (Figure 2).
- Also, cut out the ribbon whose width will be equal to the desired volume of the pillow, and the length should completely encircle the letter from all sides (Figure 3).
- Attach the tape to one side of the letter (Figures 4-6).
- Attach the second side of the letter, leaving a small hole on either side (Figure 7).
- Turn out the pillowcase (Figure 8).
- Fill the pillowcase with a filler and sew a hole (Figure 9).
Pillow, the letter is ready!
Feline Chanterelle
Even with this form you can create a cushion with your own hands.
Master class for tailoring:
- Take a cloth of orange and white flowers, as well as a patch with a pattern (picture 1).
- From the orange fabric, cut two identical parts - the torso of the chanterelle with the ears (picture 2).
- From a patch with a pattern, cut out a circle - the future is puziko (picture 3).
- On the front side of one of the details, sew a triangle - a muzzle, eye-beads and a spout, and below - a pussy (picture 4).
- Tear off the back and front.
- Turn out the pillowcase and fill with filler.
Pillow in the form of a chanterelle is ready!
Embroidery of pillows
In this way, you can easily decorate as alreadyexisting pillowcase, and a new one. To do this, you just need to select the desired pattern with a drawing, take out the canvas and thread the mulina. When the embroidery of the pillows is finished, the back is sewn back (a simple cloth flap), and the pillowcase itself is filled with filler.
In this way, you can make many cushioned pads with different images. The style will be one.
Application
The idea of application can be absolutely any, but the cushions decorative on the sofa are sewn equally.
Instructions for the creation of the application "Peacock":
- On a sheet of paper, draw a silhouette of the peacock's body, a crown and a drop (picture 1). Of several such will be the tail of a bird.
- Attach the pattern to the fabric and cut the peacock detail (picture 2). Indenting is not necessary.
- Cut two identical rectangles to create a pillowcase on the pillow.
- Place one of the sides in front of you.
- Sweep all the details of the application in this order, as they should be in the final form (Figures 3 and 4).
- Attach all the elements (picture 5). The stitch can go either along the contour of the part or in the center. It all depends on your wishes, the possibilities of the sewing machine and fantasy.
- Tear off the front and back of the pillowcases together and place the filler inside (picture 6).
Decorative cushion is ready!
Round cushion with button
Master class, how to sew a cushion round cushion:
- On a sheet of paper, draw a circle. Its diameter will be equal to the size of the future cushion. Divide the circle into twelve identical segments and cut out one of them.
- Attach the segment to cloth shreds of different colors and cut out twelve pieces (Figure 1).
- Lay out all the segments in front of you in a circle, alternating a monophonic part with a colored one (Figure 2).
- Sew a pair of colored and white parts (illustration 3).
- Now you have six pairs of segments (Figure 4).
- Stitch together three pairs of segments (Figure 5).
- You have got the top and bottom of the circle (Figure 6).
- Fold together the halves and stitch them together (Figure 7).
- Fold a piece of cloth in half and a sewn circle. Attach the half to the scrap of the fold to the fold (illustration 8).
- Circle the contour of the circle and cut out another one of the plain fabric (Figure 9).
- Cut off a piece of cloth. Its length should be equal to the diameter of the circles, and the width - to the thickness of the cushion.
- Tear the ends of the rectangle together (figure 10).
- Attach the bezel to one circle (illustration 11).
- Attach the second circle to the rim, leaving a small hole (Figure 12).
- Turn out the pillowcase and tightly fill with filler (Figure 13).
- Sew the hole.
- Insert a long piece of thread into the needle.
- Sew the pillow through, passing the needle through the middle of the pillow. The end of the thread should be on the reverse side (Figure 14).
- On the front side, sew a special button (illustration 15). Thread tightly and pass back. Tie the knot.
Round cushion-padded is ready!
Knitting and cushions
Knitted cushions are made as follows:
- Hook is a chain of stitches columns without a crocheted black thread. Its length is equal to the size of the future cushion (picture 1).
- Several such series are made (picture 2).
- Next, several rows of a thread of white color fit together (Figure 3).
- Continue to knit, alternating the black and white thread (picture 4).
- When the desired piece is ready, take a soft cloth and cut the flap larger by several centimeters than the knitted one (picture 5).
- Sew together a knitted piece and a textile (picture 6).
- Place the filler inside the pillowcase.
A warm pillow is ready!
