Spielberg plus Ford.
In Egypt, Colombia and the Caribbean
The first two "Mummies", shot by Stephen Sommers, -also the best adventure films of our time. Egyptian escapades of heroes Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weiss capture. The Scottish actor John Hannah is responsible for the humor in these films, and Arnold Voslow is impeccable in the role of an ominous mummy. The third part, transferred “by inheritance” to another director, was no longer so remarkable. A big loss was the replacement of Weiss by Maria Bello. The curiosity about Lara Croft is curious: it is, if not the best adventure films, then at least good ones. They are especially dear to the hearts of admirers of the great Angelina Jolie and Gerard Butler, appearing as a charming adventurer in the sequel. The textbook work in this genre is an old, but pretty “Roman with a stone”. Michael Douglas, coupled with a sweet and able to ironic herself Kathleen Turner managed to create an organic spectacle. And Denny DeVito, in the role of a scoundrel, was at least tricky, but touching. “Fists are good,” as if the creators of the best adventure films say, but brains should work too. Also, the mass of admirers at the "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise, flooded (sorry for the pun and tautology) sea adventures.
Favorite since childhood
Director of "Romana with a stone" Robert Zemeckis lovesmake adventure films. The list of the best includes another trilogy - “Back to the Future”. A fusion of fiction (time travel), western (in triquel) and lyrical comedy - this is the recipe for success from Oscar-winning Zemeckis. It is not by chance that this triptych in full composition is among the leaders in the ratings of popular movie sites. It is a pity that Michael J. Fox failed to reveal his talent in further work, and remained "by the same guy McFly." The work of Christopher Lloyd (Dr. Brown) is excellent. In the prequel in the role unusual for himself (or rather, too ordinary for himself!) The role was played by the incredible Crispin Glover.
Стоит упомянуть и любимые многими с детства Soviet television films. This is "The Adventures of Prince Florizel" - one of the last movie of the brilliant Oleg Dahl, the screen version of the book by Evgeny Veltistov about the Electronics Robot and many other wonderful stories that made you dream and dream.
