However, until now it is not confirmed that these eight "gigs" are really needed in order to run the game at the maximum settings.

Given the impressive graphic scale of the second part, many gamers were waiting for something incredible. But as a result, one look at the requirements makes it clear that you will not see anything supernatural. Minimum and recommended requirements are at the same mark in 1 GB of video memory, and the maximum requirements are raised to 2 GB. And this despite the fact that the game is declared as a visual masterpiece.
But modern games even without such audaciousclaims require up to 3-4 GB of video memory. And the point here is not only in numbers - in fact, the game also does not look much better than the previous episode. Unfortunately, gamers pay more for the add-on to Crysis 2, and not for a full-fledged project, and this add-on is much more expensive than the very second part of the game.
The game looks quite fresh just becauseit was published relatively recently. The initial release on all platforms was released in the United States of America, and it happened on February 19, 2013. Almost immediately followed by other releases - first in the Russian market on February 21, and then the next day and in the European Union. As a result, the whole process took only four days, the game sold in great quantities, but the positive reviews were much smaller than the negative. Naturally, the game itself looks fine, and if it was an independent project, it would definitely receive better reviews. But, unfortunately, the continuation of a successful project, which stands on the site, while developers are pumping out huge amounts of success. Incidentally, by the way, they are not earned.
