And although the manufacturer himself says thatthe main task was to create a new GPU, which would become a leader in the upper price segment, the improved RV790 chip is only an improved version of the RV770. There are no other changes in the video card. Even the manufacturing techniques and capabilities remain the same, architectural changes are also absent. Most likely, AMD tried in this way to show that they are not lagging behind the competitor, which releases new and advanced solutions.
