The main building of the South Ural stateUniversity without any exaggeration can be called the main architectural symbol of the city of Chelyabinsk. The building was built in 1943 in the style of the Stalin Empire. The majestic central tower with the spire was planned in the original project, but it was built much later. Chelyabinsk elevator is located in the centera city with a million inhabitants. It was built in 1918 according to the design of engineer K.E. Zhukov.
