Little to know which plants are listed in the Red Book

The creators of all life on Earth (includingman) must have had their own ideas about what is perfection. To me, from my humble positions, this question seems somewhat different. Is man like the crown of creation? Soft-bodied, always worried with something (then searching for food, then multiplying, then killing oneself like that). Of course, reasonable, but very weak in body, and often in spirit. It's the plants. These are creatures that are able to produce energy from sunlight (photosynthesis), to live long (even millennia), to reach huge sizes, being always in one place.

According to the data obtained as a resultvarious tests, some plants can exist for decades autonomously in a completely enclosed space, without the access of air and other elements from outside. Receiving only sunlight, they are able to create for themselves a micro environment, suitable for life, and constantly support it. Many plants that are listed in the Red Book, in fact, are record holders for surviving in difficult conditions. Simply, even this is not enough now to coexist with people. Russia, Australia, Kazakhstan, the United States, Ukraine and other countries are trying to save the plant communities existing in their territories. But even knowing which plants are included in the Red Book, people can behave negligently. Rip off rare flowers in bouquets (because they are so beautiful!), Cut trees for furniture workshops (money is everything), etc.

The vegetable kingdom on the planet is representedvery widely and diversely - from century-old giants-sequo to the smallest algae in the oceans. Of course, in nature, representatives of the flora have many enemies. But the main one is a man with his economic activities. Destroying forests and polluting water and air, we still realize that by doing so we kill ourselves. Therefore, we are trying to somehow remedy the situation by creating environmental protection societies, signing appropriate petitions, introducing endangered species into the Red Book.

Asking which plants are included in theRed Book, it will soon be easier to answer which ones are not included in it. Those that humanity cultivates purposefully: agricultural crops, decorative and houseplants. All the representatives of the flora and fauna living in nature, have to cram or die out, because a person simply needs more space, because we are many - billions!

So, which plants are listed in the Red Book? Each continent has its own sad list of such species. The most difficult to survive is endemics - those species that live only in one place on the planet. For example, there are plants listed in the Red Book of all-Russian or regional significance. Among them: large-flowered Venus shoe, East Siberian hazel grouse Dagan, Anemonides Altai, crested bracts and many others.

Considering the question of which plantsare listed in the Red Book in addition to endemics, we can conclude that there are a lot of rare species and constantly reducing their habitat. Literally in every country (and even any of its regions) there are "Red Book" disappearing plants. But the real protection of the flowers, trees, grasses and shrubs included in any lists can be ensured not by the Red Book or even by the protection of the state (although it is extremely important). It is necessary that people from childhood realize the importance of preserving the plant world. So that even a hand does not rise to tear a beautiful flower in the forest or break off a branch. Apparently, only education can help in this.

Meanwhile, we continue to lose some kinds of plants every day. And, probably, we will not be able to fill these losses.
