The first acquaintance with the city begins withEvpatoria railway station. This is a unique building, built in 1953 by architect A.N. Dushkin. Earlier, when the Moscow-Evpatoria train left from here, music always played. In 2003, in honor of the 2500th anniversary, which was celebrated by Mr. Evpatoria, a sculpture composition "The Birth of Kerkinitis" was erected near the station (Kerkinitida is the Greek name of the city). The author portrayed her as a small, trumpeted girl in a sea shell lying on the backs of dolphins. From the station begins Frunze Street, along which famous single-track trams run. It leads to the same park, from which you can get to the beach.
