There is still a concreted helicopter landing site and the ruins of the barracks, in which even the beds left after the stay of the military, who were at the top until the 90s, still stand. In the center of the stone plateau is a modest concrete obelisk dedicated to the soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War. Nearby you can see a small lake, which was formed in the funnel from the explosion. From the top there is a stunning view of the central part of the Southern Urals. Between the Big and Small Yamantau is a very picturesque saddle, surrounded by large Kurum.
