The relay is a word borrowed from theFrench language. Initially, this term denoted a special messenger (courier) with an urgent message, later - horse mail. That is, something was relayed from a distance, and they did it as quickly as possible.
In addition to the Olympic Games, all sportscompetitions are divided according to their importance - championships, cup competitions and championships. The task they have is to identify the winner and fix his result. They are held annually or once every two years. There are levels of competition - the highest, the first, the second and the third. In addition, there are basic, qualifying, classification, discharge, qualifying and several other levels of competition. There are separate or specific competitions dedicated to some event or date - the Victory Day, the Day of the runner and so on.
Track-and-field relay race, along with massor festive races, is held very often. It is arranged by schools, institutes and enterprises. Holding sports events of this type is based on the general "Regulations on track and field relay", which is the main law of the competition. He is guided by the judiciary board. As relay races are held often, and some of them have a specific hue, each of them takes an individual position on the conduct, which is amended, supplemented and amended, agreed by the organizers of the event with representatives of the teams and the main panel of judges.
