Edgar Manucharyan is, you can say, realstar of Armenia. One of the most popular footballers of this country. He has an interesting biography and a pretty impressive career. Edgar Manucharyan was born in 1987 in the cityYerevan is the capital of Armenia. His football activity began in a club called "Pinuk." At 17 he was recognized as the team's top scorer. This was a great achievement at that moment, for which the young football player was sent to the junior team of Armenia, where he became even more fruitful and practiced. This was the beginning of a successful career. Nobody could have imagined that very soon a promising young man would go far abroad - to compete for one of the most famous European clubs.
At the end of 2004, in December, Edgar Manucharyanwent to the most famous club in the Netherlands - in the Amsterdam "Ajax". Moreover, he even went on the field as a member of the team. And it was not just some kind of training game, but a match against Catalan "Barcelona"! It was held on the 14th of December. Then Edgar Manucharyan spent only 14 minutes on the field. It was an unfortunate day for him, as the player suffered a severe leg injury during the game. From the player's field was taken away. After the medical examination, it turned out that he received a serious fracture of the metatarsal bone. The trauma touched the right leg. On the same day, December 14, the Armenian Football Federation announced that Edgar Mancharyan is the best football player of the country in 2004. This was confirmed by a survey among journalists. Then even if football of Armenia has reached a new level.
Of course, "Ajax" decided not to sign a contract inthe same day and soon too. However, they also did not refuse to invite the prospective football player from Armenia to their team. So after he recovered (namely - July 1, 2005), the Dutch club signed a contract with the striker for three years. "Ajax" bought a football player for only one hundred thousand dollars.
Already on September 18 of the same year, the strikerdebuted for his new team. It was a match against FC Alkman Zastrek. In that game, Edgar came on the field at the very end - at 84 minutes. He replaced another striker. It was Ryan Babel. Unfortunately, in that game, "Ajax" lost to his arch-rival with a score of 2: 4. For that season, Manucharyan played only four games, but, nevertheless, together with the club won the Dutch Cup.
In the next season, the striker is just as rarecame into the basis, but at least on the field it could be seen more often. Unfortunately, the injuries continued to haunt the prospective player. And because of this he had to play for the youth team "Ajax".
Finally, on November 2, 2006, Edgarmanaged to score his first goal for the Amsterdam club. This happened in the framework of the UEFA Cup match 2006/07. Then "Ajax" spoke against the Viennese club "Austriya". Manucharyan appeared on the field in the second half, at the 57th minute, and already on the 65th he sent the ball into the opponents' goal. Thus, the player increased the score to 3: 0. And it was an excellent home win.
On July 22 the striker took part in a friendlygame against the London "Arsenal". The match was held at a brand new stadium, and it was a farewell game for Dennis Bergkamp, who was a former player of both one and the second club. Then Edgar made a good goal transfer to Hyuntelar. This was the first goal in the history of the new stadium "Emirates".
In 2007, the football player signed a new contract with"Ajax" - this time until 2011. However, everything went wrong as planned, so in 2009 Edgar was already playing for "Harlem". The club rented it from "Ajax" for one year. But as soon as "Harlem" was ruined, six players, leased from the Amsterdam, returned to their native staff. But there Edgar did not stay long - since February 3, 2010 he started playing for FC "AGOVV". And in the first game he scored a goal, than provided his new team with a minimal guest victory. And in the game against the "Excelsior" the attacker did not get a hat-trick at all. And it's worth noting, a week after the very victory in the match with "AGOVV".
In 2010, Manucharyan returned to FC Pinuk,having independently terminated the contract with "Ajax", which constantly gave his football player for rent. In his native club, he played six months, and in the middle of the next year, 2011, he was again rented. This time - Yekaterinburg "Ural". But, fortunately, the striker, it was decided to turn the lease into a long-term contract. Initially, it was planned to sign it for two years, but everything turned out more successfully. So from July 17, 2012 Edgar Manucharyan is the official forward of FC Ural. With this club, the player became the winner of the FNL Championship in the season 2012/13, as well as the owner of the FNL Cup itself (in the same years).
