In the summer of 2011, an updated Charter was adopted in Russiainternal service. In the section on sanitary and anti-epidemic measures, it is determined how to maintain health, maintain personal and public hygiene.
Article 343 requires the military not to hideillness and take care of your health. If a serviceman observes that a patient is next to him, then, in accordance with Article 346 of the Internal Service Charter, he is obliged to report this to the commander. The procedure for localization of infected persons, disinfection of premises and introduction of quarantine is defined in Article 347.
For the prevention of infectious diseases, Article 345 provides for the provision of protective vaccinations.
Young people who entered the service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are obliged to monitor personal hygiene. How to do this is described in detail in Article 344 of the Internal Service Charter.
The military should wash and brush his teeth every morning and evening before bedtime.

The Internal Service Charter prescribes washing hands before each meal. For this, conditions must be created even during field exercises.

In the army, the length and shape of the whiskers of subordinates is determined by their commander. And the mustache, and the hairstyle should be such that they do not interfere with putting on and wearing equipment.
Новый Устав внутренней службы (ст.344) regulates bathing in the bath. Everyone has to go there once a week (at least). After the bath, the change of footcloths or socks, underwear and bed linen is obligatory. During the week, the military must independently maintain the cleanliness of his bed.
In 2013, shower cabins began to be installed in the barracks bathrooms. The statute of internal service prescribes a shower along with other hygienic procedures.
In accordance with the Charter, the soldiers are responsible for the cleanliness of their uniforms and turnovers (white matter, which is stitched under the collar).
The Charter defines measures for the observance of public hygiene. Duty services are required to maintain cleanliness of the premises and air them in a timely manner.
Control of compliance with standards of personal hygienecarried out according to the daily routine (Article 188), during the morning inspection. If a soldier looks untidy, the commander has the right to impose a penalty on him. The procedure for recovery is determined by the Disciplinary Regulations.
Service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation teaches young people to daily observance of personal hygiene standards and respect for their health.
