Political Rights and Freedoms

Political rights and freedoms of citizens - groupconstitutional freedoms and rights belonging to citizens of any country, giving them the opportunity to participate in the political and public life of the country.

They are most directly connected withcitizenship, but this does not mean that political rights and human freedoms must be recognized as the grace of the state. They are just as natural as personal freedoms and rights. The state only fixes them. The basis of this group of freedoms and rights is that the Constitution of our country calls the people a single source of power. On this provision, the entire constitutional system of the Russian Federation is being built.

Political Rights and Freedoms

Citizens, of course, have the right to contribute their owncontribution to government. They can do this indirectly or directly. Indirectly - through individuals elected to the authorities directly - directly, that is through referendums, gatherings and so on. All citizens of the Russian Federation have equal chances when entering the civil service.

Political rights and freedoms include the right toany association. It's about freedom of association and alliances. It should be noted that the association is possible only within the framework of the current legislation. Public associations are not controlled by the state, it has no right to interfere in their affairs. The most attention should be given to such public associations as political parties. They directly participate in electoral companies, they have the opportunity to take part in solving state-level problems. Today, political parties are being subjected to stringent demands. This means that the opening of new public associations of a similar type is difficult.

Political rights and freedoms include the right torallies and meetings. As a matter of fact, citizens of the country have the right to express an opinion, holding pickets, meetings, rallies, demonstrations and so on. Under the freedom of assembly it is understood that it is possible to assemble in any closed premises to discuss and resolve certain issues or take the necessary actions. Access and rules for participation in the meeting are determined only by the founders. The state has no right to prevent people from holding meetings. Of course, it's only about cases when they do not discuss plans for a social coup and so on.

Rallies are held outside the premises. They have a place to be public speaking. Demonstrations are held on certain routes. Information to citizens is brought not by shouting from the rostrum, but by means of posters and banners.

Picketing - standing or moving with posters.

These political rights and freedoms todayseem very, very doubtful. The state is doing everything possible to preserve its power and not let the masses understand that its policy is not aimed at improving the life of the people. Practically everything is necessary to get special permits. Holding, for example, an unauthorized demonstration will entail legal liability. Penalties that can be obtained for the "illegal" implementation of their rights are great today.

Citizens of the Russian Federation have the right not only to choose, but also toto be elected. It is an active and passive electoral right. These rights appear from a certain age and under certain conditions (legal capacity and so on). Together they are components of political personality.

Political rights and freedoms include andright of references. Appeals are sent to public authorities or officials. They, as a rule, contain a requirement to clarify a particular state of affairs.
