For the transformation of Andorra into a paradise, Boris Skosyrev demanded the crown of the state. For a certain period, the General Council of the Principality approved him as a king. It was during this period that the flag of Andorra became a tricolor, on which the bands were horizontally located. The bottom field was blue, the upper one - red, and the middle - yellow. The flag of Andorra had a golden crown with jewels, which was located exactly in the center. But a few days later, Bishop Uhelsky ordered the newly-made King to be taken into custody. National symbols were again changed.
The coat of arms of the principality of Andorra is depicted on a yellow backgroundflag. The current version of the coat of arms was approved in 1969 and has the form of a shield, which is divided into four fields. The episcopal miter with a staff is depicted on a red box in the left square at the top, and the upper right corner of the shield is a golden one with red pillars, which is a symbol of the influential French house of Foix. The symbol of Southern France is the scarlet cows depicted in the right square below. In the left lower square there are 4 red pillars on a gold background, which symbolize Catalonia.
