Contraindications

Contraindications include a reaction to the vaccine "Pentaxim" of an allergic nature, observed for forty-eight hours after the previous administration of the drug. Vaccination is not prescribed for hypersensitivity to the components of the medication. After the administration of the drug, it is necessary to monitor the child's temperature indices during the first 2 days. With hyperthermia, antipyretic agents may be taken.
Side effects

Some children experience fever, drowsiness, sleep disorder, anorexia, prolonged crying, vomiting, diarrhea. Rarely the drug provokes a rash, hives, swelling (anaphylactic manifestations).
