Ointment "Lokoid" is used in the treatmentsuch diseases as psoriasis, as well as unspecified, atopic and contact dermatitis. The main active substance in this medicine is hydrocortisone 17-butyrate, as a base is used vaseline oil, ointment is used as an external agent. Ointment "Lokoid" is produced in aluminum tubes, which also have an aluminum membrane. It has a uniform shape, oily to the touch, translucent, the color can be from white to light gray.

Ointment "Lokoid" is characterized by localanti-inflammatory, as well as antipruritic and decongestants. After applying the ointment to the body, the active substance gradually accumulates in the upper layers of the skin, namely in the epidermis, the systemic absorption of this ointment is insignificant. There is also absorption of a small amount of hydrocortisone 17-butyrate in the systemic blood stream in unchanged form.

Contraindications to the use of this drug
