A heating boiler is a complex device, which performs the function of heating the room. Such a device is in every private house. Boilers differ in their technical parameters and cost. Today we can identify solid fuel and electric boilers. Their advantages and disadvantages are discussed in this article.
Solid fuel heating boiler
This device is a supply containercoal or wood, a firebox, an ash pan and, of course, a chimney. Its principle of operation is very similar to an ancient wood stove. Modern heating appliances, working on coal, occupy almost the same place as electric ones. Their main difference is the basic construction, which consists of cast iron or steel. Such furnaces are rather durable and reliable (with proper operation). Steel devices, unlike cast-iron ones, are not afraid of sudden temperature changes, and accordingly, they do not burst. They accumulate well and give off heat energy.
Advantages and disadvantages
The advantages of this device include low fuel costs, availability of equipment in stores, durability and autonomy - its operation does not depend on the supply of gas or electricity.
As with any appliance, a wood-burning boiler has its drawbacks. To them, in the first place, it is necessary to attribute the fact that fuel for it will take up a lot of space in the yard.
Electric heating boiler
Such a device performs the same functions as a solid fuel, it only works on electricity. It has many pluses and little flaws.
Benefits
Such equipment has high performance, does not require additional maintenance.
Perhaps the only drawback is the dependence on the supply of electricity. If the light is off, alas, the boiler will not work.
