Soviet truck "MAZ 500", which photopresented on the page, was created in 1965 at an automobile plant in Minsk. History

The base model was the onboard "MAZ 500" with a wooden body. The carrying capacity of the car was 7.5 tons, thanks to the 180-hp engine, the car could easily tow a 12-ton trailer.

The new family of the "five hundredths" was a model range of the following modifications: dump truck "MAZ 500", truck tractor "505", timber truck "509", and universal chassis "500Sh".
