In the same 1958 Bryansk Automobile Plant was53 tractors of T-140 class of 15 tons were manufactured. In 1959, an assembly production of armored personnel carriers BTR-152 and a large floating car ZIL-485 was organized.
Over the next 2.5 years, 819tractors T-140. For the installation of bulldozer and scraper equipment, the D-804 pipe-laying system has been designed. With the collapse of the USSR, the military products of the enterprisewas unnecessary. The Bryansk Automobile Plant actually got up. In the mid-nineties a well-known Treaty on the Elimination of Missile Defense Systems was signed, including the complexes "Oka" and "Luna", under which the BAZ produced chassis. Currently, work is under way to expand thethe scope of application of the Voshina-1 family and the new Voshina-2 family under development in prospective weapons systems and complexes - the Triumfator-M and Pechora-2M missile systems, the Iskander tactical missile system, and coastal missile systems. The possibility of using a BAZ chassis for the installation of various equipment for airfield maintenance equipment, fire trucks and tank trucks with large-capacity tanks and other equipment is under consideration.
