The theater for children and youth (Kemerovo) is still very young. He was born just over 20 years ago. In his repertoire are fairy tales, classical works and plays by contemporary playwrights.
In the city of Kemerovo, the Children's and Youth Theater appearedin 1991. It was a difficult period. It took a lot of enthusiasm and fanaticism to create a troupe at such a difficult time. The founders of the theater were Tatiana and Sergei Vnukov. Opening in the city of TYuZ was their old dream.
First there was a studio for childrenthe house of the actor. Young talents who dreamed of becoming artists, were the foundation of the Vnukovy troupe. In the studio they were taught scenic movement, speech, dance, vocals. In addition, they played roles in the performances.
A year later, the theater for children and youth (Kemerovo) received the first premise. It was located in a house on Vesennyaya Street, on the first floor.
At first young artists played only performances for children. But over time, the repertoire included such productions as "Family portrait with an outsider", "Circle Quadrature", "Twelfth Night" and others.
The theater began to tour, take part in various festivals.
At the beginning of the 2000th the company receivedown building, which is located today. It is located on the street Arochnaya. Before the troupe entered the new premises, it was reconstructed. Modern equipment was installed.
In the summer of 2008 the theater itself became the organizer of its festival. He was given the name "Siberian cat". He was held among school-age children.
Сегодня директором театра является Григорий Lvovich Zabavin. He is also one of the leading actors of the troupe. The post of the main director is occupied by Irina Nikolaevna Latynnikova. The troupe employs young actors - graduates of creative universities and colleges.
