Regimental amateur ensemble called"Blue Berets" is known all over Russia and beyond. Their first concert took place in November 1985. Last year, this group noted a very solid date - 30 years. To date, the "Blue Berets", whose permanent leader is Yarovoy Sergey Fedorovich, is the only musical group in Russia with the armed forces, where absolutely all participants have become well-deserved artists of the Russian Federation.
The song "Sineva" in their performance is a long time agois an unofficial but popularly recognized airborne anthem. The man whose creative destiny we consider, has been acting as artistic director of the Blue Berets for many years, since 1991.
Yarovoy Sergey Fedorovich, whose biographybegan in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, was born in April 1957. About his family little is known, only that his father was a military man. Being already self-sufficient and well-known to the whole country, Yarovoy Sergey admits that it was the father who at one time had a huge influence on him. After graduation in 1975, the boy was drafted into the army. Two years he served in one of the Kirovograd brigades of special forces.
After Sergey Yarovoy, he graduated fromhe apparently decided to continue his father's way, decided to enter the military school. The boy was studying in Novosibirsk, at the landing department.
After graduation from the school Yarovoy Sergeyis sent to Ryazan, where he holds the post of political deputy in the 137th Parachute Regiment. In 1985 there was, it can be said, the fateful acquaintance of Yarovoy with the 350th parachute regiment deployed in Afghanistan. It was this military unit that participated in virtually all operations that were conducted on Afghan territory. In the period from 1985 to 1987 Yarovoy Sergey (whose activities were reduced not only to the landing force), participated in virtually all regimental operations. In addition, the hero of our article was the secretary of the Komsomol.
When Sergei Yarovoi arrived in the famous 350th regiment, a certain amateur team was already created on its base. His first founder was Oleg Gontsov.
The local ensemble had songs that for themwrote one of their founders - Oleg Gonsov. But one of the main problems was the lack of professional equipment. At the same time, representatives of the Belarusian Komsomol gave Soviet soldiers such a long-awaited many equipment, but nominally the gift belonged to the artillery regiment. Since the paratroopers really wanted to play on this equipment, Yarovoy Sergey offered his comrades to conclude with the artillerymen a kind of bet: those of them who manage to prepare a full concert in a week's time will get the full right to own musical instruments. And, of course, in this dispute, the paratroopers won.
As a result of the dispute in November 1985, the first concert of the legendary ensemble took place. Its initial membership includes:
The first performance of the guys perepevalihits of famous artists then, and a little later they had their own, author's songs. In general, they, of course, all belonged to the Afghan theme, and since this issue was very painful for the Soviet Union in those years, the guys very quickly became popular. Throughout Afghanistan from hand to hand began to transmit tapes with the recording of their songs.
Between 1985 and 1987, the Blue BeretsThey spoke in front of a huge number of units based on Afghan territory. And everywhere, without exception, they were received with great joy and warmth, because what they sang about was close to everyone who served in this place.
It should be noted that the members of the collectivenot only sang and performed. It would be more correct to say that their peculiar tours were held exclusively in the intervals between combat operations. For such a selfless work all the participants in the first composition of this amateur group were awarded state awards.
But all the same popular, all-union glory to the collectivebrought their victory in the popular contest "When the soldiers sing". The concert was broadcast on the First Central Channel, and the guys performed their song from Kabul thanks to the TV bridge. For the Soviet Union, this was a real sensation, and the victory of the Blue Berets was really triumphant.
In 1987, the band had already recorded the first disc, which became platinum, the band visited Moscow several times and gave concerts at the most prestigious concert venues at the time. But in 1988, the fate of the Blue Berets was in jeopardy. Their ideological leader, Sergey Yarovoi, receives a new appointment. Other members of the group also come to an end of their service life. Of the entire first composition of the Blue Berets, only O. Gontsov wanted to stay in Afghanistan.
When the ensemble, beloved by hundreds of thousandsSoviet listeners, is under the direct threat of disintegration, the political department of the Airborne Forces understands that this can not be tolerated. A decision is made that the territorial ensemble will now be based in one of the Moscow Region airborne troops. Spring instructed to select a new composition.
Their success was simply stunning. They performed at a huge number of festivals, with their concerts visited almost the entire Soviet Union. In the history of the "Blue Berets" there is a tour of the terrible hot spots. They spoke to soldiers in Kabul, Kosovo, Bosnia, Chechnya, South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
The collective took part in the filming of the settelevision programs, and many Soviet citizens knew the words of their songs by heart. It may seem that the members of the group would have to become millionaires, but this conclusion, alas, is fundamentally wrong. Throughout its history, the group was non-profit. All the money collected for their concerts was sent to local organizations of soldiers-internationalists.
To date, Sergei Yarovoy awarded several awards, while he lives with his faithful wife, a simple, not overshadowed by a huge financial wealth, life.
