Steppe landscape is a picture of the boundlessplain expanses without forests. Only small bushes stand alone here and there. The steppe attracts with its infinity, its grandeur and beauty. It is impossible not to admire, it is impossible not to love.
Many artists find inspiration in the greatness andvariety of landscapes. The steppe is good at any time of the year, but there is something special in it, mysterious and fascinating in early spring: in some places there is still snow, and in some places flowers are breaking through. In summertime, the steppe is covered with a yellow-green carpet, and in winter it is covered with snow-white and ice. Drawing steppe pencil can display any time of year.
At the master class we will analyze how to draw a steppe with a pencil. Later, the image can be painted with watercolor or wax crayons if desired.
Drawing steppe (pencil) requires compliance with some rules.
A line should be drawn in the image.horizon, which passes where the sky visually ends and the earth begins. Since there are no straight lines in nature, their drawing in landscape drawings should be avoided. To emphasize the depth of space, artists use an aerial perspective: in the foreground, details are drawn clearly, and in the background - blurry. Drawing steppe with a pencil is also impossible without aerial perspective. Remove objects into the depths also by muffling colors and smoothing shades.
In the background, use blurry lines to apply elements of the steppe - it can be a lonely low shrub or a small hillock. Paint grass or flowers with strokes, without drawing details.
Fill the wide strip of the middle plan with rows of thick grass (separate blades of grass should be visible, as this is the middle plan).
