Trans is one of the most popular genresmodern music, although it was born at the dawn of the twentieth century. Today even the notion of "transculture" has appeared, but all because of the huge number of branches of this musical style.
Today there are several versions of the emergencesuch a direction as trance. This music, according to one version, arose in the 30s of the XIX century in India. Other researchers of modern musical culture call the 60s of the last century, and the place of origin is indicated by the same picturesque island of Goa. European music lovers say that trance, as one of the whales of harmonic art, originated in Europe in the 80s of the last century. Whatever it was, but each version takes place, because trans-music is a mixture of several styles of progressive music, which was formed in the club centers of the world, such as discos and festivals in Goa, and in clubs in Germany and the Netherlands.
The founder of the movement is called the AmericanDJ Gilbert Livi, better known as Goa Gil. After traveling through India, Gilbert began organizing trance-style parties in Goa. Initially, the DJ tried to combine the music and the art of yoga, thus creating a unique melody, giving an opportunity for meditation, full concentration and positive thoughts.
What is a trance?This is one of the most popular styles of electronic dance music, a mixture of such genres as industrial, techno and house, and the psychedelic motifs of the 70s also had a big impact on this style.
The main feature of such music is the tempo 130-160beats per minute, constantly repeating the main melody, high vocals, melodic basses and light percussion parts. Thanks to melodic basses, repetitive motifs and depth of sound, this melody introduces into a trance and relaxes, adjusts to a positive mood. Transmusic is not just a mixture of musical trends and styles, but a certain worldview and perception of life.
Today the classic trance is the samea rarity, like fresh water in the ocean. Over time, it divided into many styles. Everyone has their own gurus, creating a special sound, and dedicated fans.
Goa trance - originated on the island of Goa in the middlelast century. The sound was based on a variety of rhythmic sounds reproduced by wooden sticks. Now they are replaced by computer technology.
Acid trance was born in the late 80's of the pastcentury. Its feature is the "acid" sound, which is achieved thanks to the main part of the synthesizer. The star of this style connoisseurs call the German DJ Kai Tracid.
Dream House, or Dream Trans, originated in clubsDetroit and Chicago at the end of the last century, characterized by a melodic main party, a light bit. The main part is dominated by pianoforte, saxophone or violin. Now the sound of the instrument is replaced by computer samples. The greatest popularity of this musical style reached in 1995-1997. The founder of the style is Robert Miles with his first composition Children.
Vocal trance is characterized by a high rhythm, it is no wonder that the peculiarity of this style is vocal. Trance in this style often sounds at festivals in the open air.
Progressive trance- is saturated with special effects andprogression. Unlike classical sound, the main melody does not repeat, but is replaced by another batch. The most outstanding representative is Armin van Buuren.
Uplifting trance is the youngest style, with a high active rhythm and main party, plunging into a state of easy trance.
Hard trance is characterized by high rhythm and heavy beat.
Trance is music of the spirit-free positiveof people. Representatives of this culture are very extravagant, extraordinary and megapolar. Such trance stars as Armin Van Burren, Talamasca, Boris Breich, Juno Reactor, Robert Miles, Tiesto and many others, create unforgettable rhythmic melodies, which not only make it pleasant to move on the dance floor, but also to work, meditate, just relax and fly away to distant corners of your subconscious.
If at the end of the last century, trance and its subtypeswere an underground in the USSR, today the post-Soviet countries have joined with great zeal to transculture. Annually eminent DJs and musicians come to Moscow and other cities of Russia, creating a unique atmosphere in the trance style. This cultural trend in our country is still young, so there are own projects, but in a very small number of members.
Trancemission Festival - a megaproject, which takes place in the Czech Republic, Russia and many European countries, gathers hundreds of young and already famous gurus of transculture from their turntables.

No wonder the Indian island of Goa is the place where the sounds of trance were born. Beach festivals and parties all year round start on this island and attract a huge number of music lovers.
