If we talk about the most common frets, thenfrom the point of view of music theory, a minor is a mode with a certain sad tinge. This color gives him a combination of small third and pure fifth in the construction of triad and arpeggios. In this case, the minor third is constructed from the tonic note, and then the large third is added to the interval. As a result, between the tonic and the dominant is a clean fifth.
The meaning of the word "minor" is inextricably linked to itsinterpretation from the point of view of the Latin language. After all, it came from there. Minor is a word derived from the Latin "molls", which literally can be translated as "soft" or "sad." It is not surprising that the designation of minor keys is made by adding the word “moll” to the tonic. For example, C-moll (C-minor).
The minor tones have three basicvarieties: natural, harmonic and melodic minor. The construction of the scale in each case is different, regardless of what key characters the tonality uses.
In the natural minor, the gamma performance involvesonly signs in the key. The harmonic minor is a gamma with a raised seventh step, and the melodic minor has an increase of two steps at once (sixth and seventh) and is played in different sequences up and down. It goes without saying that to designate C-tonal minor tonalities, you can use the designations like “C # m” or “Cis-moll”. The second category of symbols is rarely used. The simplest abbreviation is enough.
Most common and most oftenused can be called minor keys with tonic on the notes “la” and “mi”. In this case, the minor is a gamma containing a minimum of key characters. In the minor scale "la" in the key they are not at all. In the "minor", only "F-sharp" is present. It is thanks to the simplicity of the gamma and the construction of basic triads, these minors are most common among pianists and guitarists.
For both instruments chord techniqueis the easiest and enters the initial course of music education. For the guitar, you can also select "re-minor", the chord of which is the base for the performance of all three fingers, as well as "A-minor". "E-minor" uses only two fingers, which are pressed against the fourth and fifth string on the second fret.
The minor tones are different in that they givea mournful coloring or even some lyrical notes. In combination with the main gamma steps and parallel majors, they can cause a storm of emotions, which is simply impossible to convey in words. If you look, the majority of musical ballads or slow compositions are represented in minor keys. This is understandable, because a deep feeling is transmitted only in this way. One has only to hear the chords, as the soul immediately plunges into awe.
Of course, only a combination of standardharmonies and chords is not limited. For any musician, the use of minor keys gives a wide field for creativity, despite the seven standard notes of the scale.
