The states of Paraná and Rio Grande do Sul are leading in terms of soybean harvests. For the production of export products, sugar cane is grown in the states of Minas Gerais and São Paulo, as well as in Pernambuco and Alagoas. Rice, cocoa and oranges are produced for export. The production of export crops in Brazil is greatly influenced by the geography of the world’s agriculture.

Brazil’s own agricultureproduces many important products, among which cotton, beans, corn and wheat can be distinguished. In terms of exports of agricultural products, Brazil takes the third place in the world after the United States and France. In terms of supplies to the world coffee market, Brazil firmly holds the first position. Also in connection with the weakening of Cuba's position in the supply of sugar cane, Brazil and in this product came out in world leaders. For the supply of cocoa and soybean, it ranks second in the world and is in third place for the production of corn.
