The stranger initially demanded money, but not having received them, dragged a 12-year-old girl into the bathroom, ripping off her clothes, and sent the boy to look for everything valuable. Zhenya did not lose his head, grabbed a kitchen knife and, with a running start, thrust him into the lower back of the rapist. Children's strength was not enough to deal a serious blow. But the man released the girl, she ran away. After an ostrich, the rapist grabbed Zhenya, inflicted 8 blows on him with a knife. Hearing the noise of the approaching people, whom the sister called, the criminal escaped. I could not save Zhenya, he died the same day from hemorrhage. Zhenya Tabakov is the youngest citizen of the Russian Federation, awarded such a high state award. He received the Order of Courage, unfortunately, posthumously.
