Tragic assassination of the first personsStates and famous politicians often changed the course of history. Often the murderers were never found, and sometimes the blame for such crimes was laid on those who were not involved in them. In particular, the debate over whether Lee Oswald is a “Dalassian rifleman” or whether he was not at all involved in the assassination of John Kennedy continues to this day. To understand this question, hundreds of researchers around the world have scrupulously studied the biography of this person, which, I must admit, is quite unusual.
Lee Harvey Oswald was born in the USA, in New Orleans, in 1939. The boy's father died shortly before his birth, so the mother was forced to raise three sons alone.
When Oswald was only 2 years old, the woman sent all the children to an orphanage, as she did not have the means to support them, but a year later they returned to the family again.
В возрасте 16 лет Харви оставил учебу в школе и I went to work first as a clerk in the office, and then as a courier. The young man’s mother did everything so that her son could be on the school bench again, but in October Oswald left school and entered the United States Marine Corps. Thus, he never received a high school diploma.
Despite this, the young man read a lot and until the age of 15 he loved to tell people around him that he was a Marxist.
As soon as he turned 17, Oswald entered the United States Marine Corps.
At first, he was trained as an operator of a radar station, then was sent first to the Macas El Toro base, and later - to the military airfield in Atsugi (Japan).
During this period, he, along with other marineinfantrymen trained sniper shooting. It is known that Lee Oswald was able to score 1 point less than the value that allowed him to qualify as an apt shooter.
During the service the young man has repeatedlyfell under the tribunal. The first time he shot himself with a pistol, in the second he fought with a sergeant, for which he was imprisoned, in the third, during the guard in the Philippines, shot a rifle in the direction of the jungle for no reason.
In October 1959, a few days before his20th anniversary, Lee Oswald went to the Soviet Union. It is known that he had long been preparing for this trip. In particular, he sent several applications to universities in different countries in order to obtain a student visa. In addition, Oswald spent 2 days with his mother in Fort Worth, and then went from New Orleans to French Le Havre, from where he crossed to England.
In Southampton, he told customs officials that he was going to stay in England for a week, and then he would leave for Switzerland to study at a local university.
Запутав таким образом следы, в тот же день the young man went by plane to Helsinki, where he was given a Soviet visa. A day later he was already in Moscow and declared his desire to obtain Soviet citizenship. It was rejected, which forced Oswald to attempt suicide. He was rescued, but was put into a mental hospital.
A few days later, the young American was forced to be released, and he came to the United States Embassy in Moscow to declare that he intended to renounce his citizenship.
Oswald had a desire to go to study at Moscow State University, however, he was sent to Minsk and got a job as a turner at the Minsk Radio Plant named after him. Lenin, who was engaged in the production of consumer and military-space electronics. At the same time, the Soviet state assigned him a benefit, and also allocated a furnished one-room apartment. At the same time, during his entire stay in the USSR, the young man was constantly under the supervision of the KGB.
The Soviet "romance" tired Oswald veryquickly. Especially depressed by his "gray work", as well as the lack of bowling and nightclubs. Soon the young man, who officially never refused American citizenship, wrote to the embassy of his country in Moscow a request for the return of his passport and announced his desire to return home if no charges were brought against him.
While Lee Harvey Oswald was waiting for a response, he did not losetime for nothing and met Marina Prusakova. In just a month and a half, they signed, despite the fact that marriages between Soviet citizens and foreigners were not encouraged. Lee Oswald's wife came from an ordinary family. She was only 19 years old, and before she met Harvey, she studied pharmacy.
In February 1962, the couple had a daughter, June, and soon their family received documents from the US Embassy that allowed the couple to emigrate to the United States, which they did immediately.
Back in the US, the Oswald family settled inFort Worth, not far from Harvey's brother and mother. The former marine soon had an idea to write a memoir about his life in the USSR. To be more reliable in his descriptions, Oswald began to make acquaintances with immigrants from the Soviet Union. As they later recalled, the young man seemed rude and ill-mannered to his countrymen’s countrymen, so they sympathized with Marina Oswald.
In 1963, Oswald left Fort Worth.Harvey joined William Reilly, a New Orleans company that was a member of an organization that opposes the communist regime of Fidel Castro. However, Oswald was not able to stay there for a long time, as he showed little zeal and spent a lot of time reading magazines about hunting and weapons.
September 23, 1963, Oswald's wife left withdaughter to a friend in Texas, and he went to Mexico. In Mexico City, a former Marine turned to the Cuban embassy for a transit visa. At the same time, he indicated that he was going to visit this country before returning to the USSR. Diplomats from Liberty Island demanded a document confirming the consent of the Soviet side to the arrival of Oswald.
Going to the USSR Embassy in Mexico City, heasked for asylum. During a conversation with a representative of the KGB, Oswald behaved very nervously and could not even finish writing the letter to the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet, as he became hysterical when he learned that he had to wait for a response for about 4 months. Subsequently, the Soviet intelligence officer, who spoke with him, expressed doubt that Oswald could even shoot a sniper rifle, as he was in a state of extreme nervous excitement.
Having run out of the Soviet embassy, the man again went to the Cuban diplomatic mission, but he was expelled, saying that his help only harms the revolution.
После возвращения в США Освальд устроился на work on the book warehouse. Soon after, his second daughter was born. The wife and children of Lee Harvey Oswald lived during this period in Irving, where he came on weekends.
In November 1963, in the absence of a spouse, agentsThe FBI visited Marina Oswald twice, suspecting that she was a KGB agent. Enraged Harvey went to the FBI Dalassa branch to meet with Special Agent J. Hosti. Not finding him on the spot, he left him a note in which he threatened to blow up the bureau's office and the police department if someone from the federal government dares to disturb his wife.
The route of the presidential motorcade during a visit to Dalassa was published in local newspapers a few days before the visit. The path was supposed to pass by the warehouse where Oswald worked.
According to government commissions, investigating the Kennedy assassination, November 22, around 12:30, from the sixth floor of the Harvey school textbook store three times with a rifle. As a result, the president was killed and the governor of Texas was injured.
Immediately after the shots, Oswald supposedlyhid a rifle and descended the back stairs. There he ran into a police officer, but he was accompanied by a warehouse owner who said that he was his worker.
Leaving the building, Oswald drove home and changed his clothes. About one o'clock in the afternoon he was stopped by a police officer Tippit, whom he killed with four shots.
Somewhere around 1:40 pm, Oswald was seen hiding in the Texas Theater. These actions seemed suspicious to the staff, and a summoned police outfit arrested and disarmed him.
At the same time, Oswald told reporters that he had not shot anyone. He continued to deny everything during interrogations.
November 24, when the main suspect inKennedy's murder was being prepared for transfer to the Dallas county jail, Jack Ruby, the owner of a nightclub, shot him in the stomach. Oswald was taken to the same hospital where Kennedy died two days earlier. There he died at 13:07.
It all happened live, so the wholethe world saw how and who killed Lee Harvey Oswald. The only thing left to find out is the motive. According to killer Lee Harvey Oswald, he did this so that Mrs. Kennedy would not be upset by the trial.
Oswald was buried in the Fort Worth cemetery.
The commission investigating the Kennedy murder has not yet established the motives for the crime.
Убийство Джона Кеннеди Ли Харви Освальдом до сих has been questioned by many historians. Maybe someday the world will know the facts that will allow us to state with certainty who and why has committed this crime.
