In the late 60s near the village of Borovsky inTyumen region was established children's railway. Its creator was Nikolai Georgievich Glotov, who worked on the Sverdlovsk railway. After leaving his post as chief in connection with a change in the state of health, he took up the implementation of an interesting project - the railway line, where children work. From the very beginning, all professional duties here were performed by teenagers. For them, branded clothing was made. The cashier, the conductor, and even the workers and machinists - all positions are performed by children! Surprisingly, diesel locomotives on this road are absolutely real. Initially, TU2 diesel locomotives were used here. Later - TU2-142, TU2-143.
In June 1988, a children's iron was createdthe road to the Crimea, and one of the diesel locomotives was transferred to this new transport facility. Unfortunately, the railway in Evpatoria, where children could try themselves as professional workers, did not last long - its history ended in the early 1990s. The Tyumen Children's Road in 1996 also ceased operation, but the complete liquidation did not happen, and its functioning was restored. In July 2009, the 40th season was opened at this facility. By this time, the children's railway was modernized. Traffic safety has been improved. The path, the station building and the cars were repaired at the expense of the Tyumen Branch of the Sverdlovsk Railway.
