V.A.Serov was born in the northern capital on January 7, 1865 (old style), his father was the famous composer Alexander Nikolaevich Serov. Even from the cradle of the future creator began to join the art. By the way, his dad often drew at his leisure.
Exceptional observation and talent forpainting woke Serov early, and the environment only fueled his interest in art. But at that time the boy had not yet suspected that the brilliant painting “Girl with Peaches” would come out from under his brush. The artist grew up without dreaming of fame. He was generally modest.
When the future artist matured a little, with himbegan to study himself I. Ye. Repin. First, lessons were held in the capital of France, then in Moscow, and after - in Abramtsevo. Some time later, Repin went with his ward to Zaporozhye, after which in 1880 he advised him to enter the Academy of Arts in order to study with the famous P. P. Chistyakov. Soon, as was to be expected, the young talent won universal admiration, his abilities impressed everyone.
P.P.Chistyakov spoke very positively about Serov, he said that for the first time he had met such a gifted young man. Comrades of the artist claimed that he had many good qualities, such as sincerity and frankness.
In Abramtsevo Serov painted a picture that laterbecame famous - a portrait of little Vera Mamontova entitled "Girl with Peaches". It was in 1887. The artist said that he wanted the picture to be complete, but at the same time fresh, as it was with the old authors. And this, no doubt, he succeeded. And yet, he did not try to describe the picture "Girl with Peaches" in words. Why, if the admirers of his talent themselves could see everything? A year later, in Domotkanov, a picture was painted depicting his cousin. He called the work "Girl, illuminated by the sun."
In 1887, the marriage was concluded between ValentinSerov and Olga Trubnikova. Subsequently, they had several children, they lived quite happily. Valentin Aleksandrovich doted on the little ones, happily painted their portraits. At that time, the artist was already famous. Everyone was aware that “Girl with Peaches” was a picture of Serov.
In the 90s, the artist received many orders fromfamous people. After creating the portraits of M. F. Morozova and S. M. Botkina, shown at the exhibition in the French capital, a new period began in the master's work. Friends of the artist said that many were afraid of Serov, as he was very observant and always gave the person an objective assessment. Some even accused the master that his portraits are like caricatures. However, Serov argued that he had never set himself the goal of drawing a cartoon - he wrote what he saw. And if there is something caricature in a person, then he is not to blame for this - he just noticed it, revealed it.
The revolution that took place in 1905 is noticeablyreflected on the life and work of the master. It was at this time that his mature personality was formed - a citizen sensitive to social inequality. He depicted the Cossacks' attack on helpless people, wrote a number of political caricatures and several pictures on similar topics. It was a little unexpected for everyone. The author of the picture “Girl with Peaches” created canvases on fundamentally new topics for him.
В 1890-е-1900-е годы мастер вспоминал об ушедших times about domestic history. He felt some nostalgia. The heroic time of Peter, extraordinary and somewhat cruel, took all Serov's thoughts. In 1907, the painting "Peter I" was created. The emperor, on his long legs, stern and impetuous, walks toward the heavy wind. The people accompanying him seem to have just arrived from the carnival. Their robes, lifted by the wind, look rather unusual.
In the late spring of 1907, the artist sent toGreece, which left a mark in his heart for life. The antique classic struck Serov - in it he saw true harmony and beauty. The master wanted to perpetuate what he saw and embody the spirit of a glorious history, the sophistication of the legends of Hellas. Serov created the painting Abduction of Europe, as well as several versions of Odyssey and Navzikai.
In 1887, the artist created the canvas, which later became the most famous of his creation.
Junior Serov was visiting Savva Mamontov, who lived in Abramtsevo. In his house there were often creative personalities, and everyone paid attention to the cute girl Vera - she was charming. Serov was no exception - he depicted it in his picture.
Двенадцатилетнюю Веру художник рисовал на throughout three months. Now it seems surprising, as it seems that the canvas was created in a brief moment, in one gust. This picture is a bit like a shot that was hastily taken to make sure that the camera is working. Here is an interesting impression left by many who looked at the painting “Girl with Peaches”. Description of the picture would be incomplete without this interesting fact.
Tanned girl sitting at the table. She is wearing a light robe, decorated with a bow. The girl has just come running from the street, her nostrils are slightly widened - she is breathing faster, her cheeks are pink with running. She sat for just one minute - she has no time, she is in a hurry somewhere again, because the weather is beautiful outside the window, and so you want to take a walk in the garden.
Vera can not sit idle, folded arms. She needs to move, that's her point. Therefore, she grabbed a peach to, at least, fingers are not inactive. Movement is absolutely necessary for her. At the moment the girl is in a lively state. This is noticeable in her dark expressive eyes and open look. With its vital energy, beating over the edge, and admires the sweet girl with peaches. The description of the picture must include this observation.
The whole room is filled with sunshine, which easily penetrate from the street and illuminate Vera and the old furniture in the room. On the table is a knife, maple leaves, and peaches. All of the above sparkles and stands out against the bright tablecloth. The room seemed to be awake and waiting for something.
Синеватые оттенки полотна придают загорелому лицу Verochka is a bit cold, but peaches are painted in warm colors - they make the picture more pleasant to look at. You should also pay attention to the leaves and blouse girls. Their artist also painted warm enough. These soul-warming shades make the "Girl with Peaches" canvas so attractive. Description of the picture, perhaps, will arouse interest in her.
The canvas makes an optimistic impression. The painting depicts a celebration of life and youth. The artist achieved such an effect by resorting to some tricks of the Impressionists. Thanks to the trembling strokes, the canvas seems to be deeper, they emphasize the shadow and light, demonstrate a special brightness.
Из картины Серова нам многое становится известно About Vera, because all her emotions and impulses can be read on the facial expression. Verochka's sincerity, her harmonious relationship with nature and the outside world made the painting “Girl with Peaches” the most famous portrait of all times, because the artist did not just depict a child, he created a story about life. Well, how not to admit that Serov is a real talent?
Now you know the story of the painting "Girl withpeaches. It is best to consider this painting in the museum - so it will make a stronger impression. You can see other pictures of Serov, because they are no less brilliant. It turned out that “The Girl with Peaches” overshadowed all the other works of the artist, and many remember him as the author of one picture, and this is a bit offensive. It is necessary to fill in the gaps in knowledge and get acquainted with all Serov's canvases, especially since there are all conditions for this.
