Games on the local network have always been usedpopularity. In the same cases, when it is not possible to stretch the wire (for example, your partner in another city), a program such as Hamachi is useful. It creates a virtual local network, which allows you to enjoy the passage of cooperative campaigns.
However, people who decided to use suchway, can be trapped by an unpleasant problem - a tunnel through a repeater. This means that for some reason, access directly to another computer is not possible, and the connection goes through the servers of the program. This seriously reduces the quality of communication and often leads to the impossibility of playing on the network.
The problem is common, but, fortunately, inmost cases solved. A typical sign that the connection is not direct and a tunnel is created through the repeater is a blue indicator in front of the name of the network member. Ideally, the indicator should be green. In new versions of the program, it became possible to ping the contacts in the network list. If the ping does not pass, then messages about exceeding the time of the request will appear - this is a clear indication of the problem.
In the Hamachi settings, find "Network Properties" anddisable Encryption. In addition, run the program only on behalf of the administrator (like the game). Then, with a high degree of probability, the program will not create a tunnel through the repeater. In general, Hamachi is a pretty naughty program, so sometimes it creates a tunnel even if the connection can be established directly. Usually this happens with a slow connection at one of the network participants.
In this case, not always the tunnel through the repeater -bad, because some games lack the quality that the Hamachi server provides. If the connection suits you, then why change something? If the problem is not eliminated: neither by your efforts, nor by the provider, then, alternatively, change the company that provides you with Internet services. Of course, this will give you some inconvenience at first, but the quality connection is worth it.
