In the house of Meneelag, Saref gets acquainted with a new personality - Lina, who will tell him about a dark magician named Arantir. At night, the estate is attacked by necromancers and a ghoul, who are captured by Meneel and Linna. And then the massacre begins: the main character is frozen by a spell, Menelag kills the leader of the siege, the ghoul, in turn, pounces on him and disembowels him, takes Linna with him and flies, stealing the crystal of Shantiri.
