The warm and dry climate of this small countryallowed the local population to engage in large-scale fruit-growing, including viticulture. It is no accident that Moldova is called a country of winemaking and boundless vineyards. Here, just a few kilometers from its capital, is located and the world's largest basement of wine, considered a kind of starting point for the extremely popular today's so-called "wine tours". It is a real city with street labyrinths, the length of which in the aggregate reaches almost sixty kilometers.
