"The Old Man and the Sea": a short story

The stories of Ernest Hemingway's novels are always taken fromlife and have a hidden meaning, which can be solved only by carefully considering the work read. The writer himself was a simple and open person, therefore in his work the protagonists are ordinary people who were sympathized with Hemingway. "The Old Man and the Sea", the brief content of which allows us to understand the author's enormous talent, tells about the fate of the fisherman, who is the embodiment of human strength, perseverance and invincibility.

The old fisherman Santiago is coming home for 84 dayswithout catch. Previously, he was fishing with a boy, his pupil, but after constant failures his parents forbade going to sea with an old man and sent with other boats. The summary "The Old Man and the Sea" also tells about the strong friendship of two such different people. The boy loves the old man, and he is very sorry to help his teacher somehow, Manolin meets him in the evening and helps to take the gear home.

Sensing the smell of blood, the boat began to approach.sharks, the old man fought back as best he could, but they still pulled off huge chunks of meat from his priceless prey. The man sailed home late in the evening, the whole fishing village was already asleep. In the morning, going fishing, the boy saw on the shore a weeping Santiago, and a huge snow-white ridge with a large tail like a sail was attached to his boat. Manolin calms the fisherman and says that now he will only work with him.

Hemingway managed to uncover the real drama inthe novel "The Old Man and the Sea". A summary takes the reader on the morning when rich tourists gather at the shore to gaze at an unprecedented miracle - a huge fish skeleton, but none of them understand what happened in reality.
